windows, fused glass plates, and many other things with a workshop
from Fusion Glassworks.
These workshops are very popular, and fill up
quickly.

Our facilities offer a complete beadmaking room
for 6 or more, sandblasting room, kilns, coldworking, glory hole,
resin and film laminating, as well as a complete line of products
and supplies.
Our Upcoming Workshops
Beginner Beads - An Introduction to Beadmaking
This 1-day course will introduce you to basic bead making, using an
oxygen/propane torch (minor bench burner). Students will
learn safety, basic shaping and decorating techniques, such as,
applying dots, spots, frits, spirals and raked designs. Learn how
to pull stringers and make twisties to expand your decorating
possibilities. You will leave at the end of the day with a handful of
original beads! Class size is limited, sign up today!

do not
wear polyester clothes, shorts or sandals. Do wear natural cloth
(e.g. cotton) and if you have long hair, please bring something to tie
it back with.

Beginner Stained Glass
Session I
This is an introductory course on learning to create stained glass
using the copper
foil method. Learn how to cut and shape glass correctly, foil
neatly and solder cleanly. This is an
exciting yet intensive course that will give you the basic skills
required to work in stained glass. With a large selection of
patterns to choose from, you will complete a panel or suncatcher

Beginner Stained Glass Session II
This is the next step in advancing your skills in stained glass. In this 1-day
course you will take on a more challenging pattern, improving your cutting, foil and soldering techniques. Large
selection of patterns

Lead Filigree Whimsies
This is a fun 3hr class that requires no
experience! Ages 9 - 90 are welcome. Learn how to wrap glass
and solder, take home 2 beautiful hangers. we have lots of
patterns to choose from.

Fusing - An Introduction Course
This is a 1 day course to introduce participants to the
fun of glass fusing. Several projects include coasters, small plates,
some slumping and more. Learn about the COE, volumes, testing
compatibility, common mistakes and firing schedules. Basic glass
cutting skills are required.

Fusing Chaos
This is a popular 1 day course on many of the don'ts,
possibles, and different techniques that make fusing fun and
challenging. Projects are often class directed, but areas discussed are
glass testing, sandblasting, iridescent glass, kiln stringers,
texturing, slumping and some mold making. the class is geared to the
participants fusing knowledge, but some experience would be beneficial

traffic. If you have experience with bead-making, and want to
work on your own projects, you are invited to use our bead-making
room. We have six bead-making stations all set up, ready to go.
