How we do it

Want to know how we do it check out our process on how we get it done.

Design to Delivery

Rough Sketch

A simple sketch from the customer via fax, or e-mail, gives us the material to work out the appearance and measurements of the window, for an exact graphic presentation.

Sketch to Workable Format

We then send the rough sketch to be drawn up to have the measurements worked out and presented to the customer in line or full color graphic image. Once approved its then drawn out full scale for construction. Sometimes, liberties are asked for and taken!

Putting it Together

Once drawn out the glass, is cut to shape and size, or beveled and assembled  for soldering. When that's done its ready for cleaning. Usually, each project is started and completed by the same person or team.

Cleaning it up

In this step, panels are scrubbed and washed, then hand cleaned ready for sealing. a short trip to through the dryer and then its off to be made into a  sealed unit.

We use Edgetech Superseal to give warm edge technology and a lasting seal.

Packed and Shipped

Last, but definitely not least, we package the product for shipping. Whether it's the next town, province or state, we package for it to arrive damage free.

Beveling

corkpumis.jpg (24853 bytes)

After grinding out the shape of the bevel it is then smoothed out to sharpen up the edges of the bevel.

Afterwards it is then polished to finish off the bevel.

To the left is the un-polished bevel, and polished on the right, which gives it the shiny look.
